Heat tint on a stainless weld is more than a cosmetic mark. It is a weak point for corrosion.

IPB Chemical Cleaning removes it by immersion in a 2% hydrofluoric and 10% nitric acid solution for typically two to four hours.

Heavily stained items can be left longer, then inspected and re-immersed if needed.

Clean welds, restored corrosion resistance.
