Mechanical Testing of Line Pipe for North Sea Projects

Line pipe going into the North Sea has to be proven before it goes anywhere near a lay barge.

IPB Testing carries out tensile testing up to 500kN, Charpy impact testing down to -101C and hardness testing on line pipe and its welds.

Testing is UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with specimens machined in-house.

Reliable results for pipeline contractors, pipe mills and stockists.
