Gas plants, LNG and depressurisation lines all need materials that stay tough in the cold. ASTM A333 Grade 6 is the usual answer.

We induction bend low temperature carbon steels including A333 Gr6, with the heat cycle kept under control to protect impact properties.

Our UKAS accredited mechanical testing lab can run destructive tests to back it up, and post-bend heat treatment is available through a local facility calibrated to API 6A Annex M.

If the spec calls for Charpy results, we can give you the evidence.
