Calor Gas

Calor Gas approached several swivel joint manufacturers to help improve production methods at three of their cylinder filling plants. Rotaflow FV LTD was chosen to supply the new system because their open-minded approach and speed of response impressed the Calor Gas design team. The existing 12 station carousel system only filled butane. The new system allows them to fill butane and quickly switch over to fill propane, making the carousel more versatile and operates up to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1 revolution per minute. In addition to constant reliability, it feeds both products onto the carousel with the minimum of manual input and downtime.
