As we bring to market our first Medical Device your core duties will be to • Meet regularly with prospects, customers and partners to understand product requirements, validate product designs, while also supporting strategic sales activities representing the perspectives and interests of customers together with other external stakeholders. • Collect feedback from customers and prospects to identify new features and new product development. • Work closely with the technical department to ensure all product decisions taken are linked to the commercial needs of the business and relate to defined customer needs. • Actively contribute and assist in the roll-out of marketing campaigns to support the product lines together with helping create, maintain and manage the product launch process. • Provide detailed product information, training and positioning to the sales department and support customer visits when appropriate. • Run pilot programmes with early-stage products and samples. • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. • Understand the competitive environment. • Work closely with the sales team and participate in the monthly demand planning process - Analyse probable demand and put systems into place to meet it. • Effectively manage the evolution of Luxfer’s product portfolio. • Actively promote and manage trade shows to enhance customer experience and impact. It will be necessary for your to have a first degree (or equivalent) and a post graduate qualification in Marketing. Your experience will include sound knowledge of the medical and industrial gas market segments, a proven track record of product management and new product development and demonstrable experience of managing product life cycles. An understanding of ISO 13485 is also very desirable as would be either French or German language skills. You will be a highly committed and passionate marketer with a desire to present high quality product offerings. You will think strategically, be ambitious and driven by achieving results and you will excel in communicating both internally and externally in order to form solid and effective relationships.
