Over the past quarter-century, we’ve grown from a small, ambitious company into a leading name in the fluid transfer industry, supporting customers across the globe with high-quality, reliable equipment and solutions.

Reaching this milestone gives us the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect on how far we’ve come, and look forward to what’s next.

Our Story – How It All Began:

The EWFM journey began in October 2000, following a management buyout from Syltone, which led to the formation of EW Fuel Management as an independent company. From our base at Jarman Way, we set out with a clear purpose: to provide dependable loading arms and fuelling equipment that customers could trust. These first products laid the foundation for the company we are today.

As the business grew, so did our ambitions. In 2004, we moved to our current offices on Kneesworth Street, which remain our home today. The move provided the space and stability to expand our operations and continue supporting a growing customer base across multiple industries.

Over time, our product range has broadened to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse market. From Swivel Joints and Breakaway Couplings to Filling & Emptying Equipment and Storage Tank Equipment, we’ve worked with trusted manufacturers to supply high-quality solutions while maintaining the same focus on safety, reliability, and service that defined our early years.

What truly sets EWFM apart, however, is the strength of our relationships – with customers, suppliers, and team members alike. Many of the people who helped shape the company in its early days are still part of the team today, bringing invaluable experience and continuity as we continue to grow.

Celebrating the Past, Shaping the Future:

Turning 25 isn’t just about looking back – it’s about looking forward. As we celebrate this achievement, we’re also preparing for the next chapter in EWFM’s journey. The industry continues to evolve, and so do we.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been strengthening our foundations and refreshing how we present ourselves to the world. Some of you who attended this year’s Tank Storage Conference and Exhibition may have already had a small glimpse of what’s to come.

While we can’t reveal everything just yet, one thing is clear: EWFM’s next 25 years will continue to be guided by the principles that brought us here – innovation, integrity, and customer focus – with renewed energy and a fresh perspective.
