First, the fuel gas: propane or propylene?

Propane and propylene are both LPG-family fuel gases.

Both are stable, easy to store and run on the same regulator and nozzle family, so one fuel-gas set will cover either option.

In simple terms, propane is the most economical choice for steady cutting, heating and lead work.

Propylene burns hotter and reaches cutting temperature more quickly, making it suitable for heavier sections and higher-throughput cutting.

Match the kit to the job
